So it was recently my birthday, and by recently, I mean yesterday. And I was surprised to find that my closest friends, most of whom participate in The Legion of Dungeon Misfits, had actually been secretly invited to the birthday that I had completely neglected. Without going into great drawn out details of it, I can easily say that it was at that point that I realized that I was in the right social circle or some crap like that. I knew that these were the people that would stand by me and help me through, because I would do the same for them and then some. Not just because I enjoy an excuse to engage in confrontation with someone just cause they were pissing my friends off or something, but because I may or may not feel like whether its on the grid with a d20 out there in the real world, these people are going to need me, but I probably need them more than I actually let on.
Whether you actually read that paragraph or not, in short, this is basically my excuse and or apology for having not had a session write-up uploaded in forever. This is just going to be that thing that those who I am actually addressing will understand, while to everyone else it will practically be insignificant. Now, I have not idea how much sense what I typed up makes, and I have no motivation to go back and reread that. That's big paragraph... nevertheless, this is my thank you to those individuals.

Tech. Problems Fixed
Finally, after I don't even know how long, our technical problems are over and we can get the blog caught up, because I believe we are now in double digits. Nevertheless, I'm sorry for any inconvinience, especially to my fellow Misfits.

Technical Difficulites
With the main device that I use to write up our sessions and keep the blog up to date is currently out of commission for an undetermined amount of time. Write ups of sessions six, seven, and soon to be eight, will take significantly longer to be put up if things continue on their current path. Nevertheless, I will try my hardest to keep things up to date and get the sessions up ASAP, however, I mostly wished to issue a fair warning of the situation and hope that it is solved just as quickly.

Getting Back On Track
In about a week, I've been able to get another two sessions up on the blog, all the way to Session 4: The True Wilderness of the Wild. Currently writing Session 5: A Personal Vendetta, I will most likely fall back behind as soon as we have our all day session over break. We will finally be going into the mansion and clear out all the baddies within, even though that was supposed to happen a couple sessions ago. We hope to have a bit of a challenge in the mansion and find some cool stuff so we can continue to progress our characters and campaign.

Laurentius' Decision
Between the hardships of adventuring and keeping up with his Kobold followers, Laurentius has decided to devote all of his time to the Kobolds, preventing him from having to time to adventure with the group. Although we are all very saddened with Laurentius' decision, we are sure that we will be albe to find another adventuring hopeful to join The Legion of Dungeon Misfits.

Meet the Misfits
Every player has a character, and every character has their own story to be told. Some are heartbreaking, while others are less so. Either way, the background of a character is as important as what they are going to do in the campaign, because the past affects the future.
Once the page is underway, I will link to it here.

Intro
Ah yes, that amazing game of dice and monsters has once again turned up on the Internet. Another campaign, more countless dungeon crawls, an all the birds you can flip those forsaken dice! So, about ten to thirteen (we're still trying to get organized and aren't completely sure yet) of my friends and I have decided to embark on the game of Dungeons & Dragons. The group is big, yes, but we're determined to make it work. With all of us having other activities, we expect some inconsistencies with our meetings, but again, we plan to make it work. We are mainly playing with version 3.5, but have some other things mixed in, much of the other things were derived from dandwiki.com or we have all rules it as fair, legitimate, and balanced to our game.
I play as Kemlar Lupinpyre, the Human Paladin. He was abandoned as a child and has no memory of his parents, but suspects that they abandoned him due to both his Lycanthopy and curse of the Fire Element Bloodline, which both led to an unsettling nature when his instincts lost control (which was a lot of the time as a kid). He was gladly accepted into the Temple of Bahamut as an orphan, even with his "conditions." However his "conditions" did not make him too popular with the other younger residents of the Temple, they would call him names, the main ome being "Lupinpyre," which he decided to embrace, for it was who he was. The Paladins, Clerics, and Priests were not as judging and helped him discover how to control and suppress them, only using them for good and when it was absolutely necessary. He trained hard and became a Paladin by their teachings and codes. He has since married the Eldiran Druid Celestia, and has one son, Octavius, whom he is training as a Cleric.
Our DM, Bryn, the Dark Elf Rouge, who, in fact, is actually our ghost patron, whom will occasionally prevent us all from dying terrible and irreversible deaths. She has yet to give us any major purpose in the world of (I have no idea), and we are mainly doing whatever we please until we displease some powerful being, leasing to our epic quest to go vanquish them or something. As of right now she is backing up or decision of us converting Kobold captives and basically having the live in our basement. Our dream of a Kobold sanctuary will become a reality!
So please, entertain yourself and follow along with our campaign, cause who knows where its actually leading.
If you have any suggestions, questions, comments, profanities to spew, please let us hear them... Then we won't feel like we're the only nerds around here.
